Dancing With the Stars

i think i’m over it - i was able to watch the entire episode uninterrupted (Kelley was in class and Sydney was asleep) and i was bored to tears - no one was stellar last night and most of the routines were boring - i felt bad for Marissa - last week they told her to reign in the energy a bit - this week she did and they told her she needed to turn it up - poor thing - i wanted to cry for her - Jason Taylor - still HOT - his dance was a little dull but who cares because he he is freaking HOT!!!  did you see his butt in those dance pants - very nice!  everyone else - don’t really care - if it’s not better next week - i think i’ll be jumping off the bandwagon - but i will be checking in to see Jason !!!

  2. Oh girl! I started out the same way with my son with the sleeping situation. I was so tired that I would fall asleep with him in bed with me. He wouldnt let me put him down either. I have to admit I loved it though - feeling his little baby breath on my face was amazing. I feel that I do have to tell (warn) you that my son did not leave my bed until he was a little over a year old. No matter how much you love it or how sweet it is, getting your baby to sleep alone is one of the most important things to do. I, honestly, never minded it, but my husband most defintely did. It really caused problems in my marriage. I am not trying to be a “Debbie Downer” I just feel obligated to share that with you. That being said, you have a BEAUTIFUL baby girl!

  3. When my son was little he slept with me. But I had to get him out of that because I toss and turn all night and I was worried I’d turn over on him. He wouldn’t sleep on his back for anything in the world. So I let him sleep on his stomach. He was much happier, and he was just fine-safetywise. His pediatrician said it was fine, as long as he seemed to be getting rest. As soon as I started letting him sleep on his tummy, he slept through the night.
He would wake up about 5 or 6 and I’d feed him and put him in bed with me then. And then we’d both sleep until about 8 or 9.
It’s a learning process, and it does get better. :)

  5. Dianthe-I have a 4 year old and I still have anxiety attacks at the thought of leaving him. Now the mommy of a newborn (5 days ago) I don’t think the feeling will ever change! But you know what? You’re her mom and that’s your job–to worry! I am also like you, I only like leaving him with my mom. You’re daughter is so cute and has changed so much. Enjoy!!
