who is this kid?

Monday was Sydney’s birthday – she is now 5 months old – and every month on her birthday, i take her picture in the purple chair with the purple bear – and this month i was able to catch an actual smile- which was a huge accomplishment since the red light on the camera distracts her every time – but i did manage to get this
and i was all proud of myself until ReJana (the best photographer EVA’!!!) sent me this … http://bludoorstudios.com/blog/ – i know that she’s my baby and that i am totally biased – but she is the most gorgeous child – i actually cried real tears when i saw the pictures – i cannot believe that we made her – and she came out of my body!! ReJana was able to capture so much of her personality – and those are just the teasers – i have no idea how i’m ever going to choose – we’re going to need a bigger house with more walls to display all these pictures – and what about baby #2??
anyway, i know this isn’t a real post – it’s totally an AW (Attention Whore) post – but i don’t care – i just had to share!!!

Oh my goodness, she is absolutely gorgeous. The 1st picture of Dianthe and baby looks like it could be a Target ad. EK doesn’t hold a candle to this little beauty!!!

Beautiful pictures, Dianthe! My baby will be 5 months old this Saturday so I went through my pregnancy with you and have loved seeing the pictures of Sydney and I always laugh at your blog because I’m usually going through the same thing! (Even the red light – that distracts my baby every time I’m trying to take a picture, too! He’ll have an awesome smile and I’m all ready to take it, and as soon as that red light comes on, he’s mesmerized and the smile’s gone. LOL)

Thanks for the blogs. The baby is beautiful and I’m glad you’ve got the nanny situation covered. That has to be a big relief. Go figure she’s eating avacado! Can quacamole be far behind? Sounds like you had a great vacation.

Later in life, you both will be so glad to have the monthly bday photos in the purple chair with the bear. Syd may grow up to habe a daughter of her own and how cool will it be for her to do the same tradition.

We’ll have to get the girls together on a playdate. They sound like they are so much alike in many, many ways. Mari doesn’t have any teeth yet, but she’s also doing the thumb thing. eeek! Luckily, I caught her noshing on her thumb and not actually sucking it and since that’s the finger she seems to have the most control over, she chews on it. And does Sydney prefer the left one or right? Mari prefers the left.

SYDNEY IS GORGEOUS.CONGRATULATIONS! MY TWINS TURNED 5 MONTHS YESTERDAY & I TOO LOVE YOUR BLOG AS IT MAKES ME FEEL I AM NOT ALONE!! I LOST 39 LBS SINCE MY BOYS WERE BORN, AND AM DOWN TO MY PREGNANCY WEIGHT OF 160 BUT I REALLY NEED TO LOSE ANOTHER 15LBS – HOW ARE YOU DOING IT?
